Was going to say nailed on to go to Turkey on a free but Saudi is an interesting shout.

That said, given they're blatantly sports washing for image and they have an abysmal image internationally for women's rights, he might not be the smartest pick up.

Where as a club like Fener straight up 100% don't give a shit what anyone thinks.

They sponsored planes being driven into buildings, I don’t think they give a fvck about being associated with a rapist who slaps women about.

Everton look awful. I struggle to see them surviving, but they are the turd that won't flush. If anyone shithouses survival, it's Everton.

The only thing keeping Forest up is the absolute dog shit down at the bottom, because they too are an horrendous side. That match on Friday looked eerily similar to the playoff games when Forest got promoted; all blood and thunder with little quality.

Luton will be interesting at home as I think Kenilworth Road will be a tricky place to go. They'll be dreadful away, but home form might help them out. Fulham will suffer for losing Mitrovic, but I can't see then dropping off enough to finish below the likes of Everton, Forest, Luton, Sheffield United and Bournemouth.

Luton are winning only one away game all season and we all know which ground not too far from Anfield it'll be happening at.

Their one away win all season would have been a lot closer to home if Everton had dropped last season.

Yes but they like pretending that they didn't.

Yeah, Saudi is all about optics. Greenwood's partner would get laughed at if she were a Saudi and tried to press the same charges there as she did here (laughed at if she were lucky,) but that isn't the face the country wants to present to the world.

He's 21 and objectively a very talented player; a club somewhere will ignore morality and give him a chance, but I can see why a Saudi club would be reluctant given that they're trying to pretend that Saudi Arabia is squeaky clean. They might give it a few months when his name isn't in the headlines any more and the outrage won't be as acute though.

Sky Sports is reporting that a Man United training session was delayed nearly 2 hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the pitch.
Training was suspended and the police was called. After a complete analysis, experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the Goal Line.
Training resumed after the police decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again this season.

That's their summer transfer window done then. They don't even have a spare 5m to work out some up-front fee for Che Adams.

They might genuinely disappear into obscurity if they finally get relegated this season. They can't sign new players, they can't finish their new stadium, they can't take out any more loans, they have one MAYBE two players who could generate some funds.

These investors must've seen something horrific in Everton's books for them to walk away

Will this season finally be the one where everton go down? Seriously enough is enough! We brought it all on ourselves and had ample opportunity to change course. Everton just keep circling the drain but it’s not gonna last forever. Dreadful to watch too.

If they go down, their new stadium will end up like Valencia's Nou Mestalla - an empty concrete shell. All the while, Goodison will be stuck in limbo with it getting older and in need of more investment, but not getting it because of the new stadium and lack of funds.

The more they fall behind, the less likely it is that they'll receive investment given they're a million miles away from even being the best club in their own city.
