We've been consistently the best team in the league and I still don't think we're playing in top gear. Leeds and Ipswich both look like they are, so whether that is sustainable is the question!! What's positive for us though is we've seemingly navigated a rough patch and our lead over 2nd and 3/4th has only been slightly reduced. It's still only a few results swing but there's confidence to be drawn from the last month or so. The games against Ipswich and Leeds are going to be massive. I do wonder if our defence is what's going to decide this. Leeds for all their fire power have still somehow scored less than us and defensively we're significantly clear as it stands. Both Leeds and Ipswich play with a freedom that we don't and that's likely to be the causation of their goals conceded totals, but overall I think we are getting it right. If they were mid-table maybe but with where they are its hard to see, players and managers at promotion chasing clubs never leave in January, the club would just refuse to sell them.
