It's not a major honour.

That's a fact.

Winning any league is a major honour.

tbf, I don’t need to argue about the word ‘major’. It’s the best you can do in any given season.

clubs are judged on silverware hauls, not promotions

You can't argue about it. It isn't a major honour.

Playing in the top division?

That's the aim.

Playing in Europe was the aim. Still didnt stop meltdown galore and bottle job accusations being thrown all over the place because we ended up in the europa league.

the aim should be to win it. Anything else, from this position, is pretty poor.

Missing context that there’s a team a point below us with the 2nd best start in championship history - no?

Villa have had a better start than Man City, does that mean Man City finishing below them wouldn't be a failure.

We have the most expensive squad in the league, highest wage bill and spent the most in the summer and mostly likely strengthen in the winter window.

That's the context.....

Finishing below Ipswich would be a failure.

A beating. Cannot help morale for Ipswich. Just hope it doesn’t mean the inverse for Leeds.

It would be typical of this Leeds team to follow today’s performance up with a loss against Preston that causes their fans to have another one of their collective mental breakdowns.

I don't need to.

There are plenty in the squad still that have won a major honour or 2.

The Championship is not a major honour.

This is what I love about FT. Posters showing themselves to be wrong and then repeating it over and over and over and over again. Brilliant stuff.
