StanSP Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April (edited) Leeds draw with Sunderland. But it actually makes it more annoying we didn't win today. Could have been 4pts ahead of them with the game in hand. Edited 9 April by StanSP

Brooksy Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Massive result. Only way we'll go up is if one of Leeds or Ipswich are worse than us.
Tommy Fresh Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Leeds not winning this actually ****s me off more that we haven't at the very least drawn tonight

A win would’ve basically given us one foot in the Prem. 3 wins from 5 would’ve done it.

Exactly.. 4 point gap then on to Plymouth you'd have to fancy it. Genuinely think we'll blow it friday too

DennisNedry Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Leeds wobbling a bit now too - 1 shot on target at home against a Sunderland side in freefall. Pressure is getting to everybody.
Tuna Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April He is bloody fortunate Sunderland did him a massive favour, because we almost ****ed automatic promotion tonight
old koppite Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Fortress Leeds roaring their players on last 10 minutes- yeah right! Groans when they tried to play their way through , and comms said people leaving on 85 minutes. Not just us then.
Corky Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April All the promoted teams will be terrible next season.
Bilo Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Looking at the statistics, it sounds like Leeds were equally horrible. Plymouth just became a massive must-win game. They're in atrocious form, if that helps
FrankieADZ Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April lets be right, tonight we got beat by a worldie, these things happen, the performance wasnt good enough either, dont know why it took us 75mins to get going, really hope Cannon is back for Plymouth as well Leeds didnt look that good tonight tbf; looked like they was hoping for a pen or something most the time still alot of twists and turns to go i think

Bilo Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Tbf if Watford beat Ipswich, we might just have the blind luck to get promoted by default.
Aus Fox Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April It’s all going to come down to who can handle the pressure at the end of the season. We were terrible tonight, but Leeds could not take advantage and we keep a slender lead over them. They have 4 games left, all we need to do is match their points tally over their four games in our 5.

StonyFox Posted 9 April Share Posted 9 April Leeds dropping points means they can only get 99 points. 4 wins out of 5 would guarantee it for us. Based on tonight we'll struggle to get 1 win!
