Women's World Cup 2023 - Australia/New Zealand

Recommended Posts

Drove out to Blaby for a coffee this morning, between Wigston and there, not a single England flag in sight, streets busy, cafe rammed, parks full...

Bit depressing that if this was the Mens world cup final there would be flags everywhere, barbecues in every other garden, pubs spilling out, streets, parks and coffee shops utterly silent.

Long way to go.

Unlikely as it may possibly be, I'd be more than be open to Wiegman in potentially managing the men's national team.

She seems the sort who would've take any rubbish and would ensure everyone is on the same page as her.

Would send completely the wrong message imo. Paints the women's game as a stepping stone. Would be great for Wiegman to stay and carry on her great work with the Lionesses.

It’ll take a generation for people to care, they’ve only just started really pushing it haven’t they. Patience young grasshopper, our children’s children will care, equally the standard of football will come up in time too.
