Frustrating, but it's pretty much what you'd expect in a final if you don't turn up.

Spain much the better side. Walsh and Stanway may as well not have bothered, had rings run round them by the Spanish midfield and never offered anything in the occasions we actually had the ball. Bonmati was outstanding.

 

Shame we couldn't get Hemp or James on the ball more, they were the route back in but the midfield dominance really limited those opportunities to get them involved.

Hard to feel too hard done to when we were second best for the whole match. Managed to get that Euros win over the line and did extremely well to get here with the losses to the squad. It's a great achievement by Spain but still very disappointing we didn't take our chance.

To me they appear like just a kick in the teeth just after you've lost, would rather have nothing at all.
