He shouldn’t have been sacked by Gillingham, would probably get Cambridge as play off challengers within eighteen months.

Hes a decent championship manager done a good job at Millwall. I think he goes to Cambridge Utd theyll be in the championship within the next two years

Well this is one keeper who wasn’t protected by the ref and paid the price !

He is protected (the gk) by 12.3 rule: "Goalkeeper cannot be challenged by an opponent when in control of the ball with his hand or hands". In addition there's the rule about failing to respect the distance from the gk.

In the video you can see the scorer pushing him (slightly or heavily it doesn't matter). That said, we either go by the rules or accepting not to follow them because the gk was obviously taking the piss with time wasting so he deserved this punishment.

Ref used his own feeling then rather than just follow the rules ?!

Huh, what own feeling? He's not playing with his kids at home to change the rules on the fly. What's next, a ref will score a header from a corner because he feels like doing so? This was a blatant foul and this ref should not officiate a football game again.

I guess so but think a few thought it wasn’t.
