Well he has been released so therefore he is classed as a free agent? Doesnt mean his wages are free lmao 🤦‍♂️

I know, was being silly, just made me wince to imagine the level of wages he would demand as a free agent. lol

We’re gonna be in a spot of bother up front during the Afcon in January and February

Unless I’m missing something by, the only African players who have been involved this season for us are Iheanacho and Ndidi?

On the contrary, until Hermanson and Casadei, I thought we were going down a Brexit approach to transfers (Coady and Doyle) and even the exotically named signing from the French league ended up being from Derby lol

I considered Daka/Zambia which is why I had used the wording been involved. I can’t see Daka being here after the deadline and not sure Enzo intends to play him in any scenario to be fair.

Selling Daka and bringing in a quality striker that fits EM's style would turn what has been a very good transfer window into a superb one. However it all seems a bit quiet on the Daka front at the moment...

Yeah but with Piroe and Archer (seemingly) no longer options, who do we go for as a target for the striker spot, if we were to sell Daka?

Good question - and one I don't have the answer to. Hence I suspect Daka will stay and we'll going into this season with the same three strikers we had last season.

If Daka leaves and with Cameron Archer looking unlikely, a left field shout...

13 goals in 17 games in the Eliteserien for Bodo/Glimt so far this season, 3 goals in 5 games in the Europa Conference League.

Looks pretty handy in the air, 5 of his league goals have been headers. While he also currently possesses the best shot accuracy in the Eliteserien at 58%.

Leaburn is the one if we want to be serious about building for the future.
