It's a serious abuse of power, the question of whether consent is freely given when he has the power to ruin her career if it isn't is a massive minefield
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March So is he suspended while this investigation is on going, or will he still be on the touchline for tomorrow's FA Cup QF?

But it's still wrong, it's not professional for him to do this. What would the other female players think about him if they knew, difficult working conditions aswell. Pita Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March Leicester city are in a total mess both men’s and women’s. The management is shocking to let us get into so much trouble. Heads must roll.
Phube Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March So are we saying no person may date another person if they have seniority over them at work? Maybe it’s written into their work contracts (though I doubt the men’s team have to!) or maybe they have to declare it. But I’m struggling to see this as a big issue? It would be an abuse of his position as the team manager. It would be spectacularly unprofessional. He's twenty years older than most of them so it would be icky. It would call into question his ability to make disinterested decisions about who plays, or maybe even who the club signs. It would potentially be massively damaging to team spirit and morale. That's off the top of my head.

gurru991 Posted 8 March Share Posted 8 March It's totally unprofessional for a manger to have a relationship with one of the players. It affects the managers decision making process & the players will pick up on what's going on very quickly. This puts the club in a terrible position !!
