I think it's a risk but I think it's one worth taking. As far as I see it we had 3 options. Someone with a big name rep but who's not good enough like Gerard or Lampard. Someone who is good enough at the level we are at but a low glass ceiling like Smith or Parker or what we've done. A risk who hasn't been tested but has potential, not only at this level but much higher. The likes of Potter and Hütter were always fanciful and never coming. 

 

At the end of the day, if he turns out to be not good enough like the Gerard, I'm sure the likes of Parker will still be available. If he turns out to be like Parker and get us to the prem but not any higher, we will then be able to look at the likes of Potter. 

 

I just hope we don't do what Parma done and ask alot but give him little. They wanted him to replace an entire team on a shoe-string budget, mould them into his style, imprint a culture and have them gel but they only game him 1/3 of a season to do it. We need to be more patient than that. 

Patience by the club but also the Fans. Personally feel it's more than ambitious to expect promotion in a season but like always it's a roller coaster with City.

Yep, 3-4-1-2 is his preferred system.

Wouldn’t take any notice of that, he played that system at Parma for about his first 5 games then changed it.

 

Moore is right, 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 seem to be his preferred systems, that’s what he’s played for about 99% of his managerial career.

I said yesterday I was fearful at the appointment, but his opening statements have swayed my views and I'm becoming more and more hopeful by the minute 

I just want him to make us like our players again, enjoy our style of football, even if at times we lose, if we can come away from games saying " we gave our all and stuck to our game" I will be happy with that 

Also I would like to see us be a bit more of a s**thouse team, play acting when needed, time wasting, diving, roughing up the opposition, the lot, as much as it's not nice to watch at times, it's part and parcel of the modern game, last season was one of the softest Leicester teams I've ever seen

First job is to stop the players using the training facilities as a hotel and start  using it as a place of work .

Good appointment id say on the face of it. If he does as well as Peps assistant who left him for Arsenal they'll be no complaints. Get him settled in and get in the transfer market asap.
