Emailed the club this morning to give positive feedback on the goal music. I've complained about plenty from them (justifiably) over the years, so it's only fair to acknowledge when things move towards a positive step in the right direction. Nice to not have it sour a potentially big moment for the season.

Thought Wonderwall at FT was enjoyable, primarily because it was KDH who scored the goals to win an important match. Though I'd like to think they decided to play it in that context and haven't just taken a decision to play it continuously in future because they see it works at Man City, like they did with Sweet Caroline after the Euro's.

Please let the club know that this made a positive difference if you feel it did.

Proper celebration without being deafened by wanky music was bliss.

The music at half time however was ear splittingly loud and I couldn't even have a convosation

One more thing - I had a look round and couldn't see any of the honesty flags with wank slogans on them.

Looks like they're pretty much all just the Leicester colours with the badge, cinquefoils, the fox head logo etc.

Much better. Feels much less commercialised this way.

As with others, fair play to the club for taking the feedback on board. No goal music was a treat, especially with how deafening it was. Authentic noise both pre-match and when goals go in is much better. Thank you for realising it's for us to do that work.

Hope this is a long-term thing and the future is sheer noise of Leicester fans when we score.

On the subject of music, the jazzed up post horn gallop has got to go. I don’t mind the historical version and the lad with the horn. But the modern version is so awful. I’d gotten used to it and accepted it, but I want it gone.

I actually like that version 🤣 Maybe it's just because it's been around for so long by now that it's become endearing

Maybe a contextual playlist for post-match songs based on players' chants - i.e. if KDH has another great match then Wonderwall; if Hermansen saves our bacon again then L'Amour Toujours as was his chant yesterday; if Vestergaard somehow scores a brace from set pieces à la Huth vs Man City then whatever songs could be worked into a chant for him, etc etc

I'm over the moon they don't play it after goals anymore. I'm so curious as to the obsession with that song though. It is old, crap, nothing to do with Leicester, why is it the club's go-to song? They blasted it out at full-time but I just don't understand, and it bothers me way more than it should. Who is it at the club that is so in love with that awful song?

My extremely minor grievance is that Wonderwall should have come on immediately as opposed to when most of the fans have left and most of the players are off down the tunnel. Would have been good to belt that out with the KDH chant.

I don’t know, I quite liked that we could all applaud and chant for a while before the music started. It was good that someone had thought about it, Dewsbury Hall scored two = let’s play the song we chant his name to.

I've absolutely no idea how that's lasted nearly two decades. It's appalling lol

I am only hoping that next they let slip the standing of the section.. it bolsters the atmosphere somewhat and people

ain’t doing no harm. I don’t buy for one second that if the section is standing it obscures any other view of the blocks that’s sitting. I was sat once just outside the section in sk1 and could see everything regardless of those who stood.

But what a change in experience the other day, fair play to them, long may it continue

Don't think you will see a change until they install rail seats.

They do, I’m saying that’s how it should be, not with tannoys asking for the section to sit for other guests obscured view like at the Everton game last season..
