Don't mind Stowell but will never forget Sadler for that week, Villa & Bournemouth, Me and my lad could have got points, that would have kept us up!!!  That was the week, where it could have been rescued along with beating Everton instead of missing from 12 yds.

The club parted company with him in that role when they moved to Seagrave. He stayed on as an assistant in the kit department I believe

 

He took another U turn and returned to Belvoir Drive in the same chef role but for the Ladies team

Levy/ Compass look after the food at Seagrave, sizable turnover of staff recently

I swear Cambiasso's one season here has developed a lot of unsubstantiated myths around his role and impact.

I’m not exaggerating anything or trying to make his tenure anything more than it was. Here’s a direct quote from Kasper about Cambiasso: 
 

“He was basically a manager already. Even on the pitch, he was changing tactics and things like that, he was class.“

Maybe he would but since there is very little evidence he has either the ability or inclination to be a coach I strongly suspect we will never find out either way

Have to give credit to the players as a collective they probably put their heads together and said let’s get ourselves out of this. Whatever drove their belief it was strong stuff! Goes to show how different it was last season with this lot of players. I’m sure the will was there but the desire and mental steel non existent. Not until the final 2 games we saw something that looked like real resolve.

He got his UEFA coaching badges and even did the whole Shakey bit with the Colombia national team

Well it plays into what Mahrez said about the 15/16 season - that we had "11 captains on the field"....  It certainly feels like the team at the point were a lot more clued up than the current batch.

There really isn't conflicting evidence. Pearson was the manager. Literally nobody who was involved has ever said that he had to take a backseat role, or that he ceded authority (other than that he'd always given more responsibility to his players than many would). There has never been a single credible story claiming that training had been prised from Shakespeare, team selections from Pearson, recruitment from Walsh. Just of players stepping up, and people creating their own narrative based on that.

 

Cambiasso did what he was expected to do, and was a leader on and off the pitch, even though some felt he was occasionally going too far. That's totally different to the nonsense some came up with that Cambiasso was our de facto manager. Had that been the case, and it really was him who'd pulled off one of the greatest turnarounds in top flight history, then you'd expect something in his managerial career, before or after, to back that up, especially given how uncommon it would be if the story were true.

 

But there isn't. NP, on the other hand, had taken us up two divisions and built the squad already, which kind of points towards him being the one who had the handle on things. Had he been a rookie with a veteran in his ranks who went on to become a respected boss, and in addition there was significant first hand evidence (rather than twisting fairly standard comments) we could talk. And the fact that a section of our fans have always been desperate to pretend that Pearson was actually nothing all that special for Leicester - that Walsh was the man, or Vichai was the man, or Sven was the man (yes, most of those same fans loved Sven) - and were often wont to make stuff up to his detriment, is by far the most logical and easiest explanation for the story.

 

It reminds me of the time I had to explain the flaws of the Diana conspiracy theory to someone. And they wouldn't have it either.

 

If Cambiasso returned under Maresca, I'd be happy to see a returning hero, of course. But I wouldn't have the first clue whether he was a good coach.
