Coventry Home First Game of the Season

The last time we played these at home it actually felt like a proper Derby, more so than Forest .

I think some at the club are in for a shock. I reckon then try and dumb it down by some daft give away.

Mind you the Cov mafia at the club will know all about their support.

No but they count in the attendance. West Stand flask drinkers ? didn't turn up to a lot last season and it always said sold out.

Can't really show any more commitment than buying season tickets every year regardless.

I think you'll see some bigger holes in the SK1 Panda Pop drinking section as attendance and paying for such is mostly optional

I think buying one and showing up every week shows more commitment.

Buying one and watching on Sky Sports next to your log fire in Rothley just screams of middle class snobbery.

I really want to beat Coventry.    Sharnford was split between Leicester and Coventry when I was a kid (except the big club tragics).    To me, this is the Derby match.

I hope we're  up to speed against them as they've become quite coherent,

We'll see how this one ages :)

2012 was the last time we played them. Since then we've won trophies, played in Europe, built world class facilities, sold players for half a billion pounds. Meanwhile, Coventry been homeless and playing League Two football. There are levels to this game. Shame that we're now playing in the same division.

They also spent 34 years in the top fight and won the FA cup many years before we did. They have had a tough twenty years but are now generally on the up and their stadium is arguably better than ours.

Similar in many respects so you could argue about it.

So you go to football because it has some hotel, casino and arena attached to it. Its ****ing more soulless than our place and that takes some doing. Its in the fuxking arse end of nowhere. With no redeeming features.

Absolutely no way I'm having that place is better than ours. They were better of at Highfield Rd.

Can you name anything of note from that. They had amazingly have never been in top six of division for nearly 60 years until they got relegated to League 2
