Signing Mahrez would not have been possible post Brexit

Or maybe EU membership affected other people's lives differently to yours. Does having a different perspective to you automatically make someone an idiot?

How did it genuinely affect people’s lives negatively though? I mean genuine examples of what these “different perspectives” are? Other than racism dog whistling to “foreigners coming over here, taking our jobs”, I’d like the hear these genuinely negative aspects of EU membership which Brexit has genuinely made better.

Feel like you’re trying to make bad faith false equivalences here

Sterling lost 15% the day after the vote and never recovered, we're big importers and instantly made everyone poorer. In 2007 we were as wealthy per capita as the Americans, in 2023 we were overtaken by Lithuania.

If I’m comparing statistics from 2007 to 2023, I’d be using the current government as the denominator rather than brexit.

My hourly pay rate:

2007 £11

2019 £11

2023 £21.17 + no zero hours, holiday pay, pension and no accountant fees.

Same job at the same company.

Unfortunately that's simply not true, 2022 GDP for Lithuania was under $27k, UK was $46k.
