The business we've done has been good. Losing Harvey is a shame but otherwise going exactly as planned. Just slow, and no doubt being delayed by this silly SE Asia jolly.

I think Winks, Coady, Doyle, Hermansen and Mavididi all done 10 days before the first game of the season is really good going.

 

Shame Hermansen and Mavididi won't get much integration into the squad before the Coventry game but that's because of this diabolical arse licking tour of Thailand that has been given more importance than an actual pre-season.

 

We need to get back home asap and add 3/4 more additions (most probably going to be loans) and crack on now.

Agree. He is the closest we have to a modern complete forward. He can drop and play a false 9 role as well as play on the shoulder, beat a man, and stretch a defence. Not quite a complete forward but still an excellent option in the type of system Enzo wants to play. 
 

We aren’t going to be able buy anyone as well rounded as him at this level. his stats show it too, amazed no one else is in for him.

I think this tour is stupid and we should  be at home scrapping out at seagrave or facing local sides to get minutes into the legs, but Mads will likely integrate more in the squad when spending pretty much 24hrs with the side than at seagrave.

These 6 players scored 75% of our 60 goals (all comps) last season. Half of them have left. 

Vardy will be 37. Can Daka step up? Will Nacho leave?

Less than two weeks til the season starts and we've got a long term injury to our new CB, we haven't even got enough wingers to put one on either side of the pitch, attacking midfielders and creativity are currently a fever dream.

I really hope Rudkin is enjoying himself in Thailand...

Not done enough quickly enough - had maresca lined up and in for a good while now - this whole 1 out 1 in is absolutely killing us - they needed to go out and get the 6-8 needed after Maddison went - his fee pays for all of them and then they could have focussed on shipping out - we have badly wasted time and this trip they are on seems to almost brought any activity to a halt - we are vastly underprepared for next week

we lost mahrez and still are looking for a right winger several years on

 

we now lose madders, by far and away from best creative player and we haven’t replaced him

 

we shouldve had 2/3 players lined up as a replacement but here we are, 9 days to the first game of the season with no one.

 

Would be nice if Rudkin gets his head out of Tops arse and do something. Doubt it will though

A team in The Championship can replace a player of the quality of Maddison?

Perhaps we have the players lined up, just not signed up.

Waiting for the one top of the list to make their mind up or their club decide to release them?

 

It's frustrating but I'm happy at the moment (until we see how they actually perform) with our purchases so far, hopefully 3 more in the middle of the park should see us well set up.

Rodgers gets things in his head about players and thinks he's some kind of genius for spotting it. Then he often looks like an absolute clown. With Kelechi, it was his ball retention. He picked one bad part of his game and almost used him as an example (like he did with a few others). Then whenever he played the positives would far outweigh any negatives. Yet Brendan's ego cannot deal with that. 

 

The stubbornness also works the other way and he will persist with a player everyone else can see is utter shite in the hope he can put his big nose in front of a Skysports mic and proclaim his genius. 

 

Likewise his tactical decisions were the same. Just whip a player off who's having the only impact in the game, or use no substitutes and say we looked tired.

Think your missing the point Im sure they do have players lined up but hey past form over the last two years doesnt give you great reason to be  optimistic that they will bring them in even before the end of the window which is also a month into the season !
