I don’t think this is a pile on maresca situation. I think we set up perfectly. 
 

The one real criticism I have, is why he didn’t take mcateer off earlier as he was blowing.

 

Personally, I would have stuck yunus out wide and kept kdh on but i’m guessing that was more to do with the injury he had

I mean, he's still getting far more right than wrong in how we set up, but we really need to improve on game management and utilising squad depth. You've got 5 subs and a 9 man bench including two former england internationals, an experienced winger, a Belgian international, a Turkish international and a highly rated left back, it doesn't need to be the same 11 for 80 minutes then a couple of token changes

But we had enough chances tonight. We just didn't take them.

There’s a lot of good, but there’s also a lot of bad. The worrying this is, we won’t get away with doing a lot of the good next season and will be punished massively with the bad. 
 

We have been good and are a class above this season, however, I think they’ll be major frustrations and some bad results when we are back in the prem with these tactics.

Can't believe I'm saying this, as I'm not usually a fan of bringing on a 3rd CB  but surely Connor Coady's leadership would be ideal in a scenario like that last 20 when we've lost all shape. Could even have brought him on for Hamza, put Faes at LB and stuck with a back 4. Just get a guy on who will organise the team.

Credit to McKenna....he made the right subs in bringing on 4 fast fresh players to get a goal.

Subs are just Enzo's weakness

Fully agree on McAteer. He wasn't creating much offensively but put in a good shift defensively. Albrighton should have been on for him earlier.

We can't seem to score without Wilf on the pitch. That's another significant problem he needs to solve.

I am beginning to think this too.

 

We struggle in games where teams have a go at us. Every game in the PL teams will have a go at us.

Vardy, Akgun and Praet all lack match fitness and have been largely poor.
