LCFC FINED £880K....

Recommended Posts

The case relates to the following arrangement between Leicester City FC and JD Sports:

In August 2018, that JD Sports would stop selling Leicester City-branded clothing online for the 2018/19 season

In January 2019, that JD Sports would not undercut Leicester City in terms of online sales for the 2019/20 season by applying a delivery charge to all orders of Leicester City-branded clothing – disapplying its company-wide promotional offer of free online delivery for all orders over £70

By July 2020, that JD Sports would continue to apply delivery charges to online orders of Leicester City-branded clothing for the 2020/21 season as well. This continued until at least 26 January 2021

KPFC fans will no doubt be out in force to defend this shambles. Club is rotten at every level. I cannot wait for the day until this lot go.

Like it or not mate, unless you want some Saudi overloads ruling your club, they have to try bullshit like this to stay competitive on the commercial side against the greedy seven. I don’t condone this but you can see the root cause.

I highly doubt this stunt has made us anywhere near what we’ve been fined. Its incompetence yet again but this time we’ve got a bit of illegal activity thrown in as well.

As usual though nothing will change.

Wouldn’t be the first time (Terry Robinson)

At the expense of the fans.

get rid of these owners and overheads, turning the club into a joke. Have the brass to call out Everton with talk of fining them 100m and yet these stories come out.. being true. bunch of twats the lot of them.

Given the power that the investigating commission has, that punishment amounts to little more than a slap on the wrist.....which is about all that it deserved.  Anybody buying a shirt from JD Sports should be fined a similar amount!
