Also, probably one for the unpopular opinion thread, but the Vichai one before any past or present player or manager never sat comfortably with me, despite the what he's done for us and the tragic circumstances of the helicopter crash.

Agree, lots of obvious candidates such as Vardy, Morgan, Kingy was the first player to win 3 titles in 3 different leagues, Ranieri,

Birchenall has been a fantastic servant too.

Insult to injury that Stoke proudly display a statue of him holding the World Cup.

I find that Stoke statue a bit strange when he didnt win the world cup at Stoke. If it was a statue of a save or something then fine. Flip side is I guess its better he had one of him lifting the world cup than none at all seeing as we didnt bother.

Was it Fulham that had the Michael Jackson statue ?

Now that was one weird FUCHING statue for a football ground??

The fact we don't have a statue of Gordon Banks blows my ****ing mind.

Remember when he died all that happened was Birch read a little announcement.

King of Thaliand dies, nothing to do with us or football, yet we display it on the big screen inside the ground.

Because whether you own the club or are just employed on exorbitant wages by said club, you are in it for yourself - come on you are not dumb, this is obvious   :dunno:

The amount players are paid is immaterial, they're simply paid a fairer proportion of the money they make for their owners than we are.

On the other hand morally bankrupt billionaires use football clubs as a tool in their illicit schemes.

If we're building statues of players you can't argue that it isn't meritocratic, but putting up statues of billionaires just because they pumped some money into the club as part of their business strategy clearly isn't.
