Correct decision to call it off but a farcical moment in our preparation for the new season.

 

We should be giving the new manager as much of a chance as possible to be fully prepared for the first game, at home, against a local rival who almost got promoted last season.

 

I think a slow start could be incoming.

You'd like to hope Maresca kicks up a bit of a fuss over this, in what is an essential time to get his team ready he has had to drag them half way around the world on a tour that makes no sense in terms of preparing for a long competitive season, to play other English teams in a time where we are still trying to get numerous deals completed. It's again an absolute shambles, as many fans foresaw.

The crux of the point for me is Spurs don't get back days before their season starts.

 

This tour should have been cancelled shortly after relegation was confirmed.

 

Instead they reminded us it was happening in the report confirming our relegation!!
