Who's idea was this getting involved in a couple of friendlies half way around the world, Rudkin I suppose. Bet they didn't use scheduled flights either. Time football started to look at its carbon footprint.

Why would a DoF organise what is effectively a marketing exercise disguised as a pre-season game?  Given it's in thailand it's almost certainly a Top/KP decision.  You could possibly even argue that playing out there is something of an obligation, given what KP have invested in the club.

Is it still raining there? If it's stopped then they're not doing much to clear it!

Probably the same person who decided to launch the new shirt in the game we got relegated. Bad planning

Look at the crowd 😂 I could half understand this if it was full but there's no **** there!!!!

Truly grown our profile this. How about focus on getting promoted.

We aren't the only team playing - this reflects as badly on Spurs as it does us.

There is absolutely no obligation for an English football club to do anything other than play half of their league games each year in their own city.

The rainy or 'monsoon' season in Thailand occurs between July and October. The rains in the first few months are heavy but inconsistent (lasting just a few hours), whereas towards the end they become more persistent. The best time to visit is during the hot season, which lasts from March to June.

Taken from metoffice lol

Seems unlucky but also such an unnecessary risk when its important preparation.

"With typical rain beginning in July until October, you can still  expect to have a good time but under unpredictable planning."

"Bangkok, the Thai capital generally receives rain from early June, July through to October. They typically start out of nowhere and bring in overnight storms and burst of thunder."
