Spurs in Thailand

We all knew this tour was daft and reeked of a club in denial about potentially not being a Premier League club any longer.

But literally nobody mentioned that it was daft because it was monsoon season. And yet it was apparently so obvious as another reason not to do the tour. Sure lads, sure.

Ain't hindsight marvellous.

Hahahahaaa I can't stop giggling at this. It's like me coming to Dolgellau in the caravan for a week (I'm here now) and expecting it to be decent weather.

If we aren't in good shape for the start of this season then it's unforgivable.

Call it off lads. Shut down the stream.

My favourite bit was Fryatt saying he was supposed to play in Thailand but was banned for violent conduct and just went and got pissed, had a lovely time

To be fair half the people watching are probably Spurs fans who made the wise choice not to pay £10 for their club's stream.

There is absolutely no obligation for an English football club to do anything other than play half of their league games each year in their own city.

I'm not talking about formal FA rules here, it's not 1979 anymore - this is business, all business - why else do you think we're playing in such an inappropriate (football-wise) tournament.  KP don't run our club just to put on football games for a few people from aylestone, it's a global business - marketing, advertising, profits.

Forget penalty boxes just use discretion , put tracksuits down for the touchlines, kick off from anywhere vaguely close to half way, it’s Sunday morning after all, gerronwirrett!

Brings back memories of Steve Lynex vs Southampton.
