Spurs in Thailand

Recommended Posts

Seems like Spurs had hundreds of legit fans at the airport, rather than the girls from the King Power typing pool (ask yer mam, kids)

Be interesting to see the mix at the game tomorrow. I think it'll be heavily Spurs. If we manage to get a 40-60 split, the KP machine will have done well to build that level of interest in Thailand

How is throwing free footballs into a crowd taking the piss?

Let’s not worry about the fans that are there at the games every week, filling the ground, spending money year after year on season tickets amongst other stuff. We get fruit of the loom t-shirts fired out at us.

Explain what you see as more effort.

Dunno.

A pre season friendly in the clubs hometown be a nice start rather than playing two closed door friendlies where the coverage of the goals are from peculiar angles.

Engagement with Leicester based fans is poor. Football is more than winning on the pitch. It’s a community asset for the people of Leicester and Leicestershire.
King Power have had an easy ride with a lot of the changes they have bought to the club, because Nigel Pearson built an outstanding infrastructure that created success, even after he left.

FoxesTalk: omg didn't buy anyone last year got relegated board not spending any money we're skint boo hoo

Also foxestalk: omg modern football batsards evil owners going on a marketing trip to Asia to try and increase revenue what about me where's my free football waaah

Like it or not, growing an international brand is how you increase revenue to bump what FFP allows us to spend and what we have in pocket.

Well  said!

But wait for the moaners to start calling you stupid , and that we have no Thai fans just KP employees made to attend.
Enzo seems to think we have genuine fans there , but that won’t count as they’ll say he is just following the script.

Have to say I enjoyed the Enzo and JJ clip, and the training in the stadium clip (as did the players , but no wait they’re only pretending).

Hardly the end of the world is it.

Something the bigger sides have done for years
