The comments in this topic are far more embarrassing than anything our owners have ever done.

I feel some people only exist so they can complain.

What did the whingers do before the internet ??

Complain in the pub instead I'd have thought lol

FWIW most of what's been put in here is valid too

No Leicester fans ever complained about the owners before the internet, obviously.

Perhaps this thread can be used to help everyone move on and stop filling every thread with the same boring comments.

New season, new manager, new team, stop whining about last season, Rodgers, Congerton’s signings and injuries.

Perhaps if we weren't seeing the same incompetence that took us down then people would be complaining less.

We've had a complete rebuild, a whole new way of playing and upto now had 3 friendlies, one of which we've lost to a team even lower than ourselves!

But it's alright, we've got one friendly left...against Liverpool....which I'm pretty sure will give us a true reflection of where we are at, and will fill us with confidence going into the first game of the season against a local rival, who have actually prepared for the season ahead.

But yeh, keep waving that Thai flag.

Theres loads to mention but it has to be the running of the club over the last few years, never have i seen a team go from such promise, to such dross..board to players. We could all see it coming a year ago. But  nothing was done until way to late.

Cov have played less games than us so far in pre-season, and at most if things stay as they are will have played the same amount by the time we play each other

Maybe ,but after our little run before Christmas , I pointed out that we were still going downhill with Rodgers and got a kicking. We have some vanishingly small attention spans on here.

I don’t know if embarrassment is the right word. I mean as a football fan it’s always easy to criticise the ownership/board whether that is right/wrong is another debate.

I think there have been 3 times where I’ve been disappointment. Hoping for change. One was the season where we lost 5-0 to Bolton, relegation was inevitable and it felt like we wasted O’Neil. The second was Mandaric - all of it. What the **** was he doing lol. The third is the current ownership. Not Vichai led but this current set up. I just can’t see how they rebuild us. There isn’t someone in the team who I can say, yep, that’s the person who will take us forward. And that’s the problem, Whelan, Rudkin are King Power products - neither hold exceptional records outside the group. Top isn’t a business man/leader - he is far too inexperienced. For that reason, I just see damage for the next few years. I’m happy to be proven wrong but I can’t see it. Whether that is disappointment or embarrassment, I don’t know.

Fans would have given limbs up to be at that game at Chelsea game in 2016. The sheer number of King Power hangers on in the top tier of the away end rather than fans never sat right with me.

Also was it a year later when there was pictures of the Thai King around the ground and a minutes silence. Despite the chap being head of an awful human right regime.

The trophy game against Everton was just as bad

The west stand was full of Thai’s/Italians/ other random hangers on

He just signs the players passed to him by the recruitment team and approved by the manager. It’s not his place to veto them, only if we can’t afford them.

Really 😱.  Are you serious? His job is to oversee EVERYTHING to do with football operations including stopping underlings signing Turkeys. He is complicit.  If on the other hand he has zero knowledge of the players we are signing - he needs binning.

Southampton 0. Leicester 9

He’s not a scout, it’s got absolutely nothing to do with him. You REALLY want a man who isn’t a scout deciding who we do and don’t sign?

Perhaps he should pick the team as well, seeing as he’s meant to oversee all football operations.

Perhaps he could assess the players injuries as well, you know, considering he’s meant to oversee everything football related.

Or…. Perhaps they are left to the people employed to do those exact things eh.

General Managers hire specialists to do certain tasks and listen to the advice those specialists offer.
