This is where I am at with Hamza. A good attitude on the pitch and works hard. Good at the level we will be at. Hopefully wages aren’t too bad once reductions take place. But if a decent offer comes, most of them are available.

I also agree with your post just above this one other than Soumare who should also be able to move permanently given he will be in his last year as well.

I missed that one on Bouba being in his final year. If we start next season with only Skipp left out of that five (shipping Winks, wilf, bouba and hamza) I'd be happy with that.

Could probably shift them all for about 10-12m in return. My only issue is realistically would they want to leave their more than likely lucrative contracts here for a lesser one elsewhere. Can't fault them if they decide to sit their final year or so out

I am not sure when she has the baby but it is not unreasonable to want to be close by is it? These are the sorts of things that have to be managed. Perhaps there have been complications. We do not know. What I will say is Winks has not been great this season when he has played. If he does not want to be here he can go. Buying two players who were not good enough for Spurs should have been warning enough!

Unless the kid is unwell or there are some personal issues, I don't see it.

He chose to be a professional footballer, is paid insanely well, and can afford the best care or transport if needed. He chose to live where he lives, and join a club somewhere distance away.

It doesn't seem too much to ask for a manager to ask for a little give and take in the circumstances the club were in.

Not sure how it works but their wages will be closer to 50k next season than the 80k

so we really should be able to get rid, even if the fees will be depressed

Hopefully. If they're on an average of 50k each, would be very useful to get 200k a week gone off the wages.. plus Vardy and Faes

Put them all on 25k a week .... which is still to much IMO but ramp up the win bonus and a massive league winning payment ... and fans you only pay ticket prices based on league position

There’s a big difference between already agreed upon clauses and convincing players to sign entirely different contracts!

As I said, I don't want to see either of them at the club next season. That said, I would say that this wasn't an issue last season when we were doing okay, and it wouldn't be a problem now if we had secured safety. It's a bit of a red herring, imho.

If i were a manager of anything and my team were doing well I'd be happy, if not I'd be doing all I can to find improvements

I think this behaviour and other behaviour is an indication of systemic failings in the culture at the club, a culture where the players feel they run the show. This is bad and no club will be a success if there is not authority and respect for the coaching staff. It’s clear a lot of players are taking the piss. There absolutely should be standards in place and the management should have expectations that should be abided by. Travelling 2 hrs or whatever isn’t going to set you up well Imo

He's from the area where I live and everyone seems to have a story about him.

Should be the first one out of the door.

Sign Spursy, get Spursy.

I am aware of that but as a general contract ... being paid on points and position ensures the paying fans get value and not the pi55 took out of them

I'll echo what's been said here. Very very disappointing from someone who I thought was a leader and positive influence last year.

He'll not give a shit on my opinion, mind.

I'm not far from getting married and earn less than his weekly salary in a year. I'll make concessions for my job including nights away for the rest of my career. Not because I want to but because I have some understanding that not every element of my working life is dictated by my personal life.

Didn't mind going on the lash in Denmark when his Mrs was pregnant so clearly his concern extends in only so many directions.

I tend to agree.

He comes across well and on the surface seems a nice lad. I'm prepared to give him the benefit of doubt (he's earned it, the Dutchman has earned nothing) and that there's more to the story than we know about.

But, if it is at it seems, it's very very disappointing stuff

That is because you are a good person and will be a good father and husband. He is neither.

Football has created entitled attitudes like him,

You can't be surprised that treating bog standard footballers like gods creates this kind of situation.

It's mental

Just trying to cheer up the man before he steps into it (I mean the impending marriage). :D
