Vestergaard

Recommended Posts

I said at the start of the season that he was going to be the main choice due to his abilities on the ball. The system suits him down to the ground. But, the most impressive thing is that all of those fears we had about him with his lack of pace, have all been dismissed.

He’s been Susan perb.

Not good enough for the Prem though eh chaps :teehee:. Not seen a centre half performance so dominant in quite some time. Collosal.

I thought the same against Leeds. The only city centre half in recent memory was erm. I’m struggling still.

Has anyone had a bigger revival in a Leicester shirt than this man?

Does show that the right manager can get the best out of players. Both Vestergaard and Hamza had been pretty much written off by most and Enzo is getting the best out of them. Even Faes looked dodgy last season but has been great this season. Of course dropping down a league has helped but the way Enzo has revitalised so many players and given them confidence again is great to see, regardless of what league we are in. Even Daka has had a resurgence, even though a few have thrown him back on the scrap pile after his miss against Leeds.

This isn’t Vestergaard by the way. It’s Van Dyke who’s somehow squeezed himself into a full-length ‘Vestie’ body suit.

I  was wondering why he didn't lash it in after his first touch, it took him 15 yards to catch up with his first touch lol

Can't believe he didn't even crack a smile after that run, it put a huge smile on my face :D

Been thinking about the genesis of Jannik's career revival this season.

I am wondering if he (1) just plays massively better when he is picked consistently, or (2) plays massively better when he has the manager's confidence?

Or perhaps a combo of both?

Either way, I wish to apologize for calling him Lurch the last few years.
