Stephy Mavididi

Vardy put everything he could into improving his game to make it at a higher level. I don't get the impression Mavididi would do the same, he's incredibly loose at times for instance you'd expect some of these things to be ironed out early 20s

Yup, valid points. He is really good in 1-on-1s though, which is still a potent weapon at PL level. He will need to improve at least tactically to make up for his technical deficits.

FYI here are Fatawu's stats. Fewer goals and assists, but the underlying stats show us that we have an absolute monster on our hands here:

I keep saying that he’s the next Mane imo. You can see it - this guy could explode into the PL like Mahrez did for us. So so exciting.

Sadly that is a technique thing, not hating on Stephy but that’s the sort of thing that you learn growing up not at 25.

In a weird way, he hits that shot cleaner and it doesn’t go in.

Disagree, thought it was a really nice clean strike. Just watched it back he hit it sweet no?

Great game, got a bit of devilment in him too which riles the opponents and helps him in his battle with his defender. Him and KDH were almost unplayable today. The substitution, whilst necessary to protect Mavididi from a potential second booking really weakened us as we lost his skill and pace on the wing, lost the outstanding number 8 role KDH was fulfilling today and weakened it with Ricardo and in turn we weakened the breaking ability that we had at inverted fullback with Ricardo compared to his replacement Hamza. That made the last 15 minutes a bit more painful than it would’ve been had we got a winger back up on the bench.

Why is it when some of our players put in a good performance they're still not good for fans, or it's just a flash in the pan, or they need to do that every game?

Just enjoy a good performance, get behind the players. Using it as a reason to criticise... words fail

I'd hate to work for any of these "could do better" fans.

people from Leicester are negative as a breed.
