You were saying?

The result doesn’t make what I said invalid. The slow boring play will cause more problems across the season.  Had they a decent finisher they would have won the game, just like Cov.  It feels like we shit housed the game not deserved it but a win is a win.

Most of their chances came from our mistakes.  Doyle did his best Youri impression and hooked the ball to an unmarked opponent.  The ease at which Vestegaard walks and then stops for 30 seconds to then blast it to a marked Nacho who a poor pass back. Like last season they create more problems by passing backwards into danger and putting pressure on each other in order to retain the ball.

Honestly don’t know what you expect. We were the better team from the start to finish and won the game despite being still on second base when it comes to attacking. Either way, we’re both happy with the points.

It’s goin to take time before we hit our straps and no doubt there will be a number of changes to the squad before the deadline.

Results are key this season. No issue with grinding out a few results like today. Once everything clicks we should see performances kick on 🙌🙌

Thing is, almost every time Stolarczyk lumped it forward we turned over possession and Huddersfield came back at us. Of course we'll concede a couple of poor goals by losing the ball in defence, but the theory is that we'll score a lot more by playing it out the back.

Stolarcyzk doesn't look any better at passing then Ward or Iverson. For Enzo's style to be fully implemented we need Mads back fit.

Why are some fans expecting us to walk this league?

It's not improbable which other teams are good enough relative to us Southampton? Ipswich? Norwich? genuinely with our players we have the best team in the league. As Neil Warnock said we have two teams good enough to get promotion. We shouldn't be in this league but now we are winning this pissing league with flying colours.
