People blame the lad for a goal with a double deflection...

Did fine tonight.

He knows it was him switching off for half a second that was the reason the lad had space to get the shot off. Look at his reaction.

Hopefully part of the learning process as he’ll be starting games in January. I think that’s why we brought him on so early.

Players make mistakes, his 19.

Another day that shot is harmless.

More critical of a season pro in Nacho who could have put a foot in a few seconds before.

Yeah that’s fair. I was heartened by his reaction because he realises he’s made the mistake before the player has even hit his shot. Hopefully it’s something he’s learned from.

Too lightweight, he's the sort of player you bring on when you're comfortably ahead and you want to see it out. Or when you know the oppositions midfield is lightweight.

Never like having young loan players from big clubs, just always think they are putting themselves in the shop window for their parent club. Not looking for a permanent move or to impress another club!

I don't think he would have come on so early had Ndidi not got himself booked. He was walking a tightrope after that yellow card and Enzo couldn't have risked him staying on the pitch in case he got another yellow.

I would have preferred Praet to have been on the bench and for him to be ahead of Casadei in the pecking order but for some reason Praet keeps disappearing from the matchday squad now and again and we could have done with him today.

That doesn't really make sense. If they're putting themselves in the shop window for their parent club then they're putting in performances that would attract a permanent move and impress other clubs.

Not sure why he keeps coming on..absolute miles away from what we need. He was shit last year for reading and looks no better for us.  Send him back in January.

Has to be some sort of agreement that he will play in x amount/% of games. He’s coming on in situations that don’t dictate any need for him.

Was the same with Kane when he was here. Pearson kept resorting to chucking him out on the right wing just to be on the pitch when he was nowhere near having an impact as a striker.

Would send him back ASAP if we had the option to.

He plays like a lad that doesn’t really have much skin in the game. Plays like he’s just been sent to play a bit of nice football from his real club but there’s nothing really riding on it for him.

A player that’s fully invested, playing like a man who’s making a living from the game, doesn’t let their player stroll past him in the 93rd minute. As thing stand, we have a kid who plays like he believes he’s here for a nice jolly and will be back to the cushy surrounds of Chelsea when he’s done.

Unfair to say he's not fully invested, not good enough at times maybe, but if you watch how he's celebrated a couple of important goals then it's clear he means it.

what’s funny, is the same old gammon crying that he didn’t foul him there, are the ones that were crying that hamza made the foul vs middlesbrough.

There’s not a correct thing to do in the moment. Be stronger, make it harder for him… sure. But whether or not a free kick or a long distance pop is more dangerous… that’s not really clear. It’s just an incredible bit of luck

Feel for him a bit.

His whole game is built on arriving in the box, which we've seen him do well. His confidence is shot, though, so he's making the wrong decisions and snatching at chances when he finds himself in the box.

But a lot of the time he's coming on when we have a lead to defend.

He wants to impress and get forward, but instead his defensive frailties are highlighted.

You could see he was really frustrated with himself when he got a pass wrong on the edge of their box. He's almost trying too hard in a way.

As a team we need him to try hard by putting in a shift defensively, but that is never how he's going to make his name. He will live or die on his attacking output and numbers.

There's a player in there, but it's starting to look like he's the wrong player at the wrong time for us. We demand our 8's to be complete players; pressing, tracking back, and attacking the box.

Maybe he'd look a better fit as a more established footballer. Maybe then he'd put less pressure on himself to be seen to be scoring and assisting and we'd see a more composed and all-round performer.

He'd have probably benefitted more from a loan at a lesser team. He'd be a great player to bring on when you need a goal. More often than not we take the lead in matches, though.

Ultimately I don't think it's going to be a happy ending for him here.
