No that’s Sheffield Wednesday. You could argue they are the smallest club in the division though. Done well to compete.

Seen us drop points in Rotherham within a promotion season

Went top.of the league with a draw, over Sunderland? If that's the one  I was there. Nice escort around the scrapyard.

Akgun.         Iheanacho.       Mavididi.

Looks nice and complete, that.

Win here and we might convince a few more with big quality to drop down ahead of the window closing.

KDH is currently a square peg in that inside left position as he constantly needs to turn inside and gives it away on his right.

If hes on the left je cam drive in and bobs your uncle. Not sure why it hasnt been tried when we invert players all over the shop.

...I suspect that you mean for him to play wide left (Lef Winger) as opposed to taking the inside right position!!!

He is not a winger and does not have the mindset or skillset to do it. I can understand Albrighton as a Winger constantly checking when playing on the left wing due to being a right-footed player, but as an inside left and left-footed (KDH) is ideally placed to link with Doyle and Mavididi.

At what point does James Justin get minutes in the league? I know regular changes at the back can lead to disruption but I find it absolutely incredible he's committed to trying to get us back up and he's largely been ignored by Maresca so far.

He is one of the best, if not the best full backs in the league and we've finally got a LCB in Doyle who can play alongside Faes and open the pitch up with better passing angles.

Slowly coming to terms with Maresca not rating Souttar at all, despite him being a beast in the air, relatively mobile for his size and a competent ball player, however I'll be well and truly baffled if Justin is continued to be ignored in the coming weeks.

Hermandsen

Ricardo

Faes

Doyle

Justin

Ndidi

Winks

KDH

Wanya

Iheanacho

Mavididi

Don't see him changing the 3 back until Coady is fit or there is an injury.

Justin will surely play against Tranmere.

It someway it nice not to put to much pressure on after his lay off.

I 100% agree with the Justin and Doyle point, but I am coming to terms with idea that Vesty is better on the ball than Souttar. He’s certainly more comfortable with the ball at his feet. Not that Souttar is bad btw. However Souttar is quicker and better in the air, so depends what Enzo prioritises.

Though the choice between V&S js redundant if Justin comes in and Doyle goes into the middle. I’m also very conscious and amazed

I’m defending Vesty :dunno:

We’ve only played each other 26 times.

Leicester wins - 13

Rotherham wins - 7

Draws - 6

We haven’t played them since August 2011. We beat them 4-1 with a Jeffrey Schlupp Hatrick that I don’t remember.

They last beat us in the league in 2004, a 1-0 victory at the “Walkers Stadium” and were bottom of the league at the time. A 37th minute goal from Shaun Barlett.

They definitely beat us since then, 2-0 in the paint trophy when we were in League 1 in 2008,

I do remember the 1-0, felt like results like that were all too often then!

This will be tougher than people think.

Massive game for them and they will be up for it.

0-1 Leicester

Plenty of predictions of an easy 3 nil win at Huddersfield and given that we're still not up to speed then I expect this to be something similar.

I mean, he's not just going to magically go back to a flat back four just to integrate JJ is he. The inverted full backs are here to stay, might as well get used to it.

That said, I'd much, much rather JJ at RW than either McAteer or Wanya. Wanya's goal from a set piece aside, one of my biggest frustrations watching us this year has been the lack of a right winger really stretching play on the opposite side.

Given they're all right footed, I want to see them beating their man, getting to the byline, using the advantage of their footedness and getting it cut backs for KDH, Mavididi, a striker and now Casadei too.

Albrighton lacks the pace and has never been able to dribble past his man, McAteer just cuts inside and Wanya doesn't look quick enough either.

JJ definitely isn't going to do the inside forward role Enzo wants long term but his pace, direct running and energy would be a better threat than what we have there atm.

This is a good point tbh. Rather ease him back in than repeat previous mistakes.

I don't see him playing while Faes has been this dominant as the right sided CB.

Still haven’t forgiven them for knocking us out of the Auto Windowscreen Shield, or whatever it was called back then… our only chance to fully complete English football.

It’s been a long wait for revenge, unless we’ve played and beat them since and I can’t remember!

Justin can play where Doyle does and Doyle where Vestergaard does. That's what should be happening. It won't be faultless of course, Justin is better defensively and attacking off the left but he also gets caught out at times so what we gain from him coming in and Vestergaard dropping out, we also have other dangers we have to be mindful of.

I'd be extremely surprised if Maresca put any right footed player in Doyle's position out of choice. Angle of passing options off stronger foot is a big deal there.

I imagine if pressed, he'd rather mirror it so JJ did the "Doyle role" at RB and maybe played Ricardo at LB.
