Not yet, but likely they will

Hasn't played for their senior team yet though so unless he comes in and is absolutely unreal he won't get called up

Ta. Was thinking we’d be losing him, Wilf and Kel come January

He's a LONG way clear for take-ons attempted per90 minutes in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season:

10.45 - Abdul Fatawu Issahaku
9
8
7
6.8 - Nélson da Luz
6.7 - Álvaro Djaló

He also ranks first for take-ons completed with 4.82, over one more than second-place Rafik Guitane (3.76).

That said, he only played 112 minutes all season, starting just the once vs Porto (substituted at half-time).

Very happy to have Akgun and Fatawu as options for the RW. God knows we are shit at identifying talented wingers, we're more likely to end up with a good one if we get two to fight for the same spot. Bonus that it's only an option on the loan for Fatawu as well, if it doesn't go well we won't be stuck with him.

So we're getting a guy who, on his only start, was subbed at half-time?

Yep. But Sporting have great depth at RW, to be fair. Marcus Edwards, Trincão and Pedro Gonçalves can all play in that position.

How confident are we on this one? I think I'd prefer a more natural left sided player. Akgun, Albrighton, Wanya and Mcateer are all more comfortable on the right, as as is this kid.  Wouldn't be a disaster but still...
