He's not a winger and I can see him eventually move more central. Put in a shift and took his goals well

Someone called it pre-season it would be his break out year . Who ever that was have you got the lottery numbers as well .

I just hope he's given a chance to play in one position consistently. 

 

He seems to be a versatile player, but that could be his downfall.

 

It's better for someone to excel in one position than be mediocre in 3 or 4. Both for the player and the club.

He looks capable of growing his game which is most pleasing alongside his goals today. You sense there is more to come despite the imminent arrival of 2 wingers.

I always thought he was a fullback until this season. Has he played there for us previously or am I misremembering? 

 

Good on him for his two goals, both well taken.

 

Not sure he is or ever will be out RW solution, but we'll see.

Great finish for his second goal. Not convinced hes a winger long term though, CAM is where id say hes better suited

I thought he was prime turd last season when he played in the cup, but fair play was impressed in pre season and looks like he’ll be in and around the first team this season.

I'd be tempted to give him a more central role against Tranmere, start him and casadei in the more advance midfield roles and see how he does.

Just goes to show what a great coach Enzo is, 2 academy players who looked miles away from the first team have come in and had an immediate impact. We have an exciting future ahead.

Am I missing something re needing wingers ? Our wingers have scored 4 goals so far .

Be nice to have some more though cant have enough wingers

His second goal is interesting because at first you think he takes too long and let the chance go. "Why didn't you hit it first time!?" I'm sure we all thought it at the time, but what a finish with his left foot.

 

It's funny that we are signing two wingers but Marcal and McAteer have scored in recent games. I hope both continue to get given minutes, they show a lot of passion for the club and badge.

It's a 50+ game season, going to need to have some rotation in there.
