It really is. I’m running out for superlatives for this guy. Ok he is still a bit of a rough diamond but his work rate and attitude is inspiring. Just wish that shot had gone in (and the one against Leeds).

- Premier League
- Championship
- League One
- League Two
- French Ligue 1
- German Bundesliga
- Italian Serie A
- Spanish La Liga
- Portugese Primeira Liga
- Dutch Eredivisie
- Danish Superliga
- Turkish Super Lig
- Swedish Allsvenskan

...Abdul Fatawu ranks 1st for Big Chances Created per90 (1.13), and by some distance.

Dusan Tadic is second (0.98), and Marcus Edwards third (0.91).

I can't think of many wingers who can defend as good as this guy can. 

He defends like a natural full back when he covers the back post winning headers that he genuinely has no right to win. 

Not to mention some of the shots he blocks in our own 18 yard box. 

 

Fatawu has serious potential.

Do they do Opta stats for any of the lower tiers in European leagues? Not trying to take anything away from Fatawu but he and our team are probably playing at a division lower than their talent belongs this season.

Not that I have access too mate. Agree they are, but probably no more so than PSG in the French league, for example.

So he's very creative, can dribble, is quick, can shoot (we know the wondergoal is coming) and is actually very defensively savvy as well. All this aged 19.

 

I've been waiting for the catch with him all season but he seems to be getting better if anything.

Both our first choice wingers have been excellent signings and playing in the Championship should give them the confidence to develop their games. What I like about both players is their work ethic. They've played so many games recently, but still work tirelessly in both attack and defence. Maybe they won't be as effective against Premier League defenders, but they have all the attributes to do well and develop their careers.

I was being silly. He does come across as a complete nutter but i am sure they all love working with the talent and the dedication. JJ amused me towards the end of this clip -
