3-3 draw. Last minute equaliser for us from Vardy.

I'd take a draw in this one. Yet, I'm going for a 2-1 win. Vardy to bag both whether he starts or comes on.. he's scored a goal now, that usually means he'll have a run of them

Press Conference:

Learn anything from two games a week in UCL with Man City?

“Probably the only thing I can say is that when you want to reach something important, you need 20 players. The season is so long so for sure we’re going to use them. The clear example is JJ. Before he played just in cup game. The other day he was unbelievable. The same thing for the rest, they have to train well because we will need them.”

Compare this to Rodgers who liked a tiny squad which ended up biting us on the arse, especially when he made zero subs in certain games.

Nice to have 4 or 5 options on the wings too, rather than 1 or 2, and having to shoehorn someone in there.

I've not actually watched Norwich this season but they don't strike me as a team who will sit back, I think they will have a go at us.

I think they will sit back and have a go - as odd as that sounds. Their possession stats are very mediocre (for example they only had 31% possession in their 4-4 draw with Southampton). Their best asset is that they have been very efficient in front of goal so far. Already their G-xG is +3.4 (only WBA's is better) and their 0.14 goals per shot is only bettered by Preston and Rotherham. I think we'll dominate possession but we need to be wary of the counter as they have been clinical in front of goal.

Sargaent is out injured isn’t he? Who’s up front for them other than Ashley Barnes?

Everyone talks about Pep roulette, but one of the big benefits in that regular shake up is that it doesn't feel like a player is being "dropped". It's just part of the way they manage their squad.

We've chopped and changed quite a bit so far but should have better squad depth than the majority of the division. Maresca is spot on, we'll need 20+ making good contributions over the season.

Feels like a big game now with both Ipswich and Preston winning.

Don't want those two breaking away with too much daylight between us.

Play like we did at Southampton and we should be good for the 3 points I reckon.

Even if we don’t win, there’s still 39 games left lol

That’s more than a PL season…no need to be worrying about a 4 point gap this early on.

Well sorry but I do worry.

If we don't go up automatically this year, I fear the worst.
