Who do you want for next season in the PL

Recommended Posts

Faes out, Aguerd in. Loan with an obligation… if we can match the financials we’d be upgrading and not harming, possibly improving our psr situation

‘Aguerd is a left-footed centre-back who has gained most of his experience playing in a back four in France for Rennes and Dijon. Before that, however, he had played on the left of a back three with FUS Rabat in his native Morocco.

He is strong in the air, where he times his jumps well and is able to hang to win aerial battles. He is aggressive when attacking the ball, and will readily leave his slot in defence to move out and challenge further forward, attacking the ball in central midfield or in wider areas ‘

he could be perfect…

From what I’ve seen, he’s no better than Faes.

it would be fair to be skeptical but he was never suited to moyes and lopetegu has brought in his own men.

He’s best in a team who want to play possession based football, something we supposedly are.  My mates a west ham fan and he basically feels that he had a bit of a rough ride as they had to defend wave after wave of attacks in games because moyes just wanted to counter attack. All their defenders looked worse than they were because of the style and set up and felt he played a big part when they won the cup.

Ignoring everything though… he has an actual left foot

We aren’t getting a striker are we. Not really any active links even. Don’t see it happening in time.

Unless our first choice has always been Ioannidis and we won't know whether can get him until after Panathanaikos play this evening...

Percy said our attempt to sign him has fallen through.

Max Cornet would ba a very interesting shout for the attacking LB spot and also cover for the wings. Actually left footed too.

never mind that, the guy destroyed us when he played upfront for burnley
