its a shocking video.  3 outcomes are needed for this so there is justice.

1: The person being arrested should be charged with assaulting a police office and resisting arrest

2: The Police office should lose his job and also be charged

3: I order a large donner kebab tonight for my tea

Shows how much we expect of our Police and armed forces

Absolutely - literally #1 must be emotional control.

People need to trust you. If he was defending himself or others then fair play, but once someone's tasered and on the deck, that's purely revenge and not serving a purpose. If he's waving a knife around then give him a bullet to the head by all means. If you've got someone in your control and on the ground then that's it, job done.

Not keen on the police dishing out their own version of justice.

Given the circumstances I think any kind of jail time would be possibly be harsh, but for me, he has quite clearly proven that he hasn't got the correct mentality to be working for the police.

My two penneth anyway.

Vandalism has to be punished.

Vandalism doesn't do justice to what they did to an object of beauty and culture. It's very difficult for me as an artist to understand the lack of empathy of those who ask the very same from us. Very few understand the years of work and failure that go into creating works like that. I wish for those kids equivalent hardship so that they will learn a lesson. Maybe they should be made to sit on a chair(wood) and watch as the restoration specialist brings the painting as close to its former glory as possible That could be months :)

I've just seen the interview with the Reform MP on the news regarding the Manchester Airport incident.

Unbelievable. This is the text, I couldn't find the video. IMO the CT scan bit is irrelevant. I doubt the scan would have changed his view:

Speaking before the CT scan, Anderson claimed: “The message I am getting loud and clear from my constituents is they are fed up with seeing police dancing around rainbows and being nice to people and running off from rioters.

“They want police to do their job, and I think these police yesterday should be commended.

“In fact, I’d give them a medal.”

Fair enough. Shame that what seems a legitimate arrest now overshadowed by the what happened

Another video come out now of the same policeman at Manchester airport on the same night  pepper spraying a guy just standing still from about 30cms away in the link from Sky above.

Even less defensible now.

Well, that's it. He kicked him twice but it only took one to turn an alleged violent criminal into a victim and one who will probably get a nice payday. All because an officer couldn't control himself.

Some might call it bait and switch, but I'm sad to say the page hits it generated didn't result in increased revenue for me.

And all down to the one officer.

He (the officer) must been out of control to the extent that he seemed to completely forget or disregard the fact that he and his colleagues have body worn cameras, as well as airport CCTV covering all areas and his actions would be recorded from several angles.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall at his disciplinary hearing.
