Sly Posted 29 November 2023 Share Posted 29 November 2023 I do think Enzo has a style he wants to adopt, in the inverted wingbacks and the box midfield. The issue is, you need players of a certain type to do that. Doyle was a massive loss. We don’t have a squad of players to play this style fluidly. Players will either adapt or be replaced. Puel, Pearson, Shakespeare and Ranieri actually built a good squad of players. Rodgers had us playing some blistering football with those players which was possession based.
