Wednesday post match

The worst thing for me in the last few games is the risk we take for very little reward. We'll happily play dangerous passes into a surrounded midfielder, only for them to knock it back to Hermansen and so on and so forth.

Nearly cost us in the early stages of this game and has happened in many others.

Like, wtf are you doing?!

That's just what I don't like about us. Constant risk taking at the back, but once a player receives a ball around the half way line they turn back, not wanting to take any risk.

No he doesn’t **** me, it’s not 2017 anymore

He offers more than Casadei in 2023 .. anyone can see that.

I'd much rather see him on than casadei. Not saying he's great, but in a comparison to cesare, he's the messiah

The irony is, we take risks with the ball closer to our goal where mistakes can be punished than we do towards their goal. I'm struggling to get my head around it.

I was literally just typing a post to say the same thing. We're happy to take some pretty mad risks in our own third but then we're so staid in attack. Makes no sense to me.

Remember when Chelsea fans on Twitter said he would be the best player in the championship

I think he means about attacking intent. Not really hard to work out. I think everyone can take losing but the entertainment factor is not there from us and hasn't been for the majority of the season.

Nah, would rather win every game 1-0 than lose 'em 3-4

If we played the same shape but changed the system to being more direct.. there would be very little risk for a much higher reward.

We are allowing teams to come on to us and sort their shape out and absorb our space.. literally no reward in the system ATM..  we are dropping points and the points we are getting we are limping towards

Yea... stupidly I believed it .. he is utterly tosh.

I genuinely think I could do the same job.. run around for 60 mins, win no tackles, misplace every pass and look lost.. easy

Well sure. I’m just saying, we built it a bit at the weekend, and with this matchday, it’s shrunk a bit.

it’s not huge calamity you seemed to be presenting.

it’s almost as if the season has twists and turns with each round of fixtures or something

Its not though, we lost 6 points prior to the weekend, and even when we win we dont look convincing.

I can see its falling apart, but I guess it takes some more convincing.  In my view we havent had a good game since the international break before the last one.  So 7 games ago.

Unlikely to be a good atmosphere at the KP when the game was played in Sheffield

Ah sorry. My bad. Thought we had played some games at home this season, in fact Saturday just gone rings a bell.

It's like watching the tennis or Snooker now at the KP.

I hate the insistence on trying to 'control' the game when a goal up. Just attack FFS, make a game comfortable for once.

Getting sick of us now, every game is frustrating as hell to watch, even the wins.

Kick a team why they're down and grab a quick second..

If you're playing against us and you go a goal down.. you'll just know you're going to get a few chances..  need to go up 2 gears

Didn’t push the game..left the game to take its own course…

Enzo sometimes has to be put on the hot plate…& asked WTF was that..

Fatatwu not encouraged to attack right flank with Agun..

If Enzo thinks it’s great tactics to piss  around the Backline & making last second passes, but not

moving the ball forward when the space opens up,then attack it then  I see no logical reason for this type of football

M!avadidi who was playing ok,was not given that defence breaking ball when he had made the run.

Fassy & Agun opened them up then was asked to hold back.Mcateer was sent on to do what the other 2 could easily do,but

they seemed suppressed…Castadei had some good touches, but like Nacho ghosted around too much..

Why oh why Cannon is not getting a run out…put your ideas in the post..!!

Even though we has a change of players, it wasn’t the players that let us down..Tonight the slowness of movement within

the system failed us…That’s down to management…

we allowed Wednesday to put pressure on us,where we had control of the ball, and insisted to play in our own last 3rd too long..

Getting players also into the oppo box is failing…

Insist in playing this way, within a good system and playing too slow triangles at the back  will put us into trouble, sooner than we think…

Too be honest this game was a coming, using the same repatative triangles,no matter how solid, a team like Wednesday can go for broke at the end… They deserved their point..both sides had good open chances & because we are not getting enough

in the box,our wingers are becoming redundant…Unless they have a piece of their own magic..

Was hoping we'd see it out.. jannik nearly made it happen.. take the 3 points after playing complete crap and then just go bed and stay off here.. not to be 🤣

Sort it out Saturday Enzo, 3 points to make up for the 2 dropped today! Nothing less

My thoughts exactly... changing players but playing the same pace and style is moronic.. we have to change shape when struggling not just faces

We have to get the ball forward with more urgency.. the formation is fine.. the directness is not

Think you’re projecting ideas into my comments. I’m not, not saying we’ve been in increasingly poor form.

all I was saying, was simply what was in my comments:

Previous matchday: Leicester won, rest of top 6 drop points

This matchday: Leicester draw, most of the rest of the top 6 win

Swings and roundabouts.

and yes, I know Leicester are in worse form than Leeds, Soton and Ipswich, recently

Hermansen - 4 gave the ball away and put people under pressure

Vestergaard - 6 some good blocks, some shit passes

Faes/Coady - 3 out of position and played like Boobies

Justin - 4 not a left back and doing the equivalent of 'making a bad cup of tea so he doesn't get asked again'

Winks - 3% pass completion rate, approximately.

Ricardo - 4 gave the ball away about 10 x in the first half. Against a prem team we would have been 3 or 4 down.

Fatawu - 6 some positive contributions and good finish, but still a work in progress. Not a set piece specialist it's fair to say

Mavididi - 4 good cross for the goal, but when put under any pressure he shat himself. Looks less strong than he did at the start of the season. Any fullback watching ztoday will now try and lean on him, it seems to work.

Ndidi - 7 looked like Pele compared to Casadei.

Vardy 4 - if his wife is a grass, then it appears Jamie has been partaking of the pasture.

McAteer 6 - no Jason

Casadei 2 - arrivederci in January you googly eyed slow motion replay of a player

Yunus -  worse than Tete. Galatasary thought so, and it would appear so.

Dewsbury Hall - looked like Bryan Robson compared to Yunus.

Tom Cannon - apparently deceased.
