December's fixtures...Us/Ipswich/Leeds.

Recommended Posts

Some interesting milestones this month too.

We'll hit the midway point on games played after Rotherham. Should be looking to be on 58 at that point, which would be a brilliant first half of the season. Second half has Ipswich twice and AFCON in it, so definitely harder, but that's a brilliant foundation.

Ipswich and Cardiff then round off the year so really should be looking to hit the new year around 60 points. 69 was 6th last year so to have playoffs at least already sewn up would be remarkable. Obviously we're aiming higher than that but still highly impressive.

I'm sure there'll be a bump in there probably unexpectedly but this looks like a good month to settle some nerves and assert authority.

Weird that you excluded Southampton. Fellow relegated team, only 1 point behind Leeds, and boasting the division's longest unbeaten run, 11 games, including 8 wins.

Here's the fixtures for all 4 teams.

Also included the fixtures, with the quality of opposition (based on table position/quartile) - good opportunity for us to pull away from Ipswich and for Southampton to overtake Leeds

Nice analysis, and shows why I said we should be winning all our games before Ipswich.

Too ambitious for some on here though :(

Steady on there mate. This kind of positivity and recognition of our brilliant form this season isn't gonna win you many friends on here
