Too early with the Ndidi sub, took the energy from the midfield.

Should have been a 100% pen for us.  Can’t hate them for grabbing a point, begrudgingly.

Passing was so so sloppy. There’s controlling games but at least try to score. Didnt see much of anything second half apart from trying to run the clock down

Deserved to concede that ****ing about with it playing tika taka in the 90th minute. Complete and utter stupidity. Dont understand the subs either, Iheanacho to stand there like a statue over some mobility up top and Casadei in the 60th minute when we’re holding a lead?

Poor second half, approached the second half in completely the wrong way and just never took control of the game. 
 

A very disappointing game, we had a chance to all but end the challenge today, and we didn’t, thought Ipswich were shit, and we failed to finish them off.

Subs had to be made at some point, a lot of games in this period we can't just leave everyone on the pitch for the full 90

Poor subs which inevitably costs us. Ipswich were really there for the taking and we stooped to there level.

 

Disappointed but we can't argue against it due to season we are having.

 

I think this disappointment will push us on further so really a draw is fine.

As much I hate VAR, without it , it cost us a penalty, but probably the right result over the 90 mins , we got weaker with each sub

subbing off our two workhorses in midfield (kdh and ndidi) was a big error. hopefully enzo recognises this mistake

Second half wasn’t good at all and conceding that felt inevitable, but we didn’t lose. They seemed to shoot from that exact position far far too often second half though.

 

Subs to a man offered nothing. Faes was good, Stephy had a tidy first half and KDH tried his best throughout.

Iheanacho stank the place out and Casadei just lets their player stroll past him in the 93rd minute to pop a shot off at goal.

 

Call Enzo out when he’s good, but has to be called out when he’s bad and he got that one wrong tonight. Main thing, however, is that we didn’t lose.

Casadei doesn’t close down the throw and gets pushed aside, HAS to take a yellow there.

 

positives:

- point on the road against 2nd

- should have had a stonewall pen

- 6 points clear going into the new year

Points dropped tonight and against Sheffield Wednesday. 

 

Needless nervous finishes against Burmingham and Millwall.

 

Subs were horrendous. Casadei must have a clause in his contract saying he needs at least 20 minutes. Bin him off.

 

Same old problem, Enzo.

 

The beautiful football for half an hour/an hour a game means fvck all if we fold like a pack of cards at the end.

No control 2nd half which is unlike us. The pen not given on KDH was a huge point of the game and the game would have been finished if that was given and we scored. Utterly disgusting goal by Ipswich but can't say we deserved to win so a point will have to do

Too many under par today. So much sloppy play. Ipswich deserved it, but boy did they use some rup of the green with the non penalty and that double deflect goal. Expected much better from our midfield today and they did not step up to the occassion. 

 

Oh well. On paper its a good draw for us after Leeds losing today. Hopefully it will help in keeping focus.

Poor subs from Enzo, Ipswich upped their game and god lucky in the end with a double deflection Vestergaard own goal.

 

Ref made some mistakes - blatant penalty for us denied and they should have had a red card.

A good result but feels like points dropped. If we were more clinical in the final third we'd have won this game.

Draw a fair result. Ipswich were all over us that second half. I'm pleased for them in a sense as their positive play rewarded.

 

However, that's the best the division has to throw at us and the ref has robbed us with that pen from taking 3 PTS from their place
