Huddersfield (H) Match Thread

Not going to lie, I was getting ready to say I was disappointed with his efforts this half, not really looked like he's wanted to get involved but wow, that's a great strike. Great to see what he has in his locker given a chance at goal. Could be a big moment for him.

Fantastic finish, fair play to him as it hadn’t been the greatest upto that point!

Maybe he's just that type of player. A bit like Daka.

Watching this it’s absolutely no surprise that Cannon hasn’t had anything but cameo 10 minute appearances thus far. Offered absolutely zero, especially in terms of linking the play and creating space for the wide players.

Night and Day up there from the previous few weeks which goes to show just how much that position in the system has an effect on the wider patterns of play. Daka gets absolutely hammered on here but he’s undoubtedly made us a better side going forward and it’s very noticeable on today’s performance.

Absolutely mental to think we are 44 points clear of the relegation zone as it stands...on Jan 1st 🤣

Could be on 70+ points by the end of January. I didn't even know that was possible lol

Missed the bugger!

Went for a piss and boom.

Cannon fired a cannon in. it's one of them if any other player not called Cannon scored it, you'd call it a cannon. Because he is called Cannon, he rifled it in.

As always, a lucky bounce off Huddersfield's defense presented Tom with a prime scoring chance, and he took it.

Very good goal, but it wasn't a result of some clever, incisive attack.  We just crossed the ball into the box, hoping to find someone or something positive, and it worked.
