yunus looks good in tight spaces but nobody else seems to be on his level. i’d like to see him there with a few technically strong players. He fizzed one into casadei looking for a one-two and casadei cleared the ball for them 

 

it seems that his only minutes in this role is always with casadei and that’s got to be holding him back a bit

Strange square grass patch - perhaps covering sprinkler system or pitch damage.

You can tell a lot of these players haven't played enough matches with one another, players aren't aware of where each other has moved to. Players like Casadei, Yunus and Cannon need a little run in the team to get better at it, and will likely look way off it for a bit.

Yunus catches the eye more than Casadei, but Casadei recycles the ball ok, he is just not especially dynamic, bit of a Soumare type thing

If KDH has got a sickness bug and the squirts, stick a nappy on him and get him out there... he'll still be a huge improvement on Casedai 😂😂

We can’t play with this 8 pairing. Akgun is tidy but not robust defensively and Casadei is just poor all round. Might be able to get away with swapping one in, but not both. The drop off from KDH and Wilf is too much.

Thank you for writing those sentences.  I was thinking the same thing, but hadn't yet found the words to properly express it yet.

 

Many of these players need both game time, and game time with each other.

Watching this it’s absolutely no surprise that Cannon hasn’t had anything but cameo 10 minute appearances thus far. Offered absolutely zero, especially in terms of linking the play and creating space for the wide players. 

 

Night and Day up there from the previous few weeks which goes to show just how much that position in the system has an effect on the wider patterns of play. Daka gets absolutely hammered on here but he’s undoubtedly made us a better side going forward and it’s very noticeable on today’s performance.
