Millwall (A) FA Cup

Do we need to go for the cup. League much more important play a weak side and save the first team for the big games which matter

We're a hundred light years ahead in the League. Enzo is hungry as a manager, he's already dreaming of silverware.

What is your definition of a weak side especiallly now with key players like Ndidi off?

Rotate as much as possible.

Injuries to key players and  January  could look very different.  We need strong sides  against cov and ipswitch.

Already 4 players down, no idea when vardy is back. Praet is made of tissue.

Casadei  and yunus did OK today but don't want both starting at cov.

Would also like to see ricci miss this one and winks have a rest, but who would play his role ?

Looking forward to this as it is an easy away to get to. Been 3 times to Millwall and have a 100% record there. We have lost 2-0 every time.

Time for the luck to change there I think. 2-0 to Leicester this time.

Enzo will do what Enzo does…

I would go for this team, still wanting to see us in the next round..

                           Starsky

          Choudhury Coady Nelson. Doyle

                              Praet.

                     Castadei Akgun

      Albrighton. Cannon.   McAteer/ Wanya Marcal

Don't care about this game tbh.  Rest all of them and play the kids.

No chance, Praet has already said he won't be available as he will have a headache that day :dunno:

Keep it to 0-0 at half time and then check the Swansea score - if they're heading through then forfeit the match and take the week off.

Something tells me that this is very much frowned upon

Have to disagree. We will be promoted at a canter.

Maybe we could actually win the FA Cup as a second tier side, ala Sunderland, Southampton, West Ham back in the day.

Then we can embark on another European tour. :)

A European tour would be the last thing we'd need next season as a promoted side

Could really do with another option to replace Ricardo and Winks. Choudhury is currently cover for both.

I think we will changes at the back but don't have lots of options going forward unless he goes with youngsters.

I'd take it gladly. Another FA Cup and a Europa League place.

Memories for the rocking chair.

Yeah don't blame you mate. I guess with the right recruitment we could manage.

Although we're not winning the FA cup lol

Trying to work out who to play has made me realise how short we are of options in the Winks role.

I wouldn't want to play Justin, Winks or Ricardo in this game. We've literally only got Hamza so one of those three have to play.

Stolarcyzk

Nelson Coady Doyle

??? Hamza

Albrighton Akgun Casadei Wanya

Cannon

We are better off out of this.  Best outcome is - lose at Millwall and hope we get a week off when the 4th Round is scheduled.  With Afcon, we have enough to contend with without extra games.   Cove' the week after is going to be a very hard game.

Ward

The Birch    Filbert   Iversen  Rudkin

Top   Enzo  Susan  Conrad

      Pipes     Taggart

Do you think Yunus could play that role? :dunno:

There's no better chance to go for a cup then this. We're clearly a million miles ahead both on points and in terms of squad quality/depth.

If we get lucky with the draws who's to say we can't get far.

Braybrooke and Alves fit yet or what?

Don't think so. I presume Braybrooke has had a set back and Alves we know picked up a muscle injury. Enzo's timescales put him being back about now but it's been suggested he's still several weeks away again.

Even when we were defending champions we never put out anything near our strongest 11 in the 3rd round. It’s pretty common for teams to rotate.

Yes but when we were defending champions we were fighting for survival in an incredibly tough league, and playing in the lucrative champions league. Things are very different this season, the FA cup is our only chance of competitive football matches up until next August in the Prem. We have to go as strong as possible and test our playing style IMO.
