Cannon could/should have had a hat trick. Very vardy sequence, when the confidence comes he will be a nightmare.

He doesn't look short on confidence! I think there will be days he plays like that and smashes four in.

Millwall's best three chances all came from corners, of which two they converted. From open play, they had shots but nothing particularly threatening while our chances were higher quality and closer to goal, so think the commentator was OTT in playing up their dominance.

But we created our own issues. Thought Doyle was poor (except that through ball to Cannon) and Stolarcyk's kicking got worse towards the end, indirectly leading to the 2nd goal.

Enjoyed seeing Coady in the middle of the 3, thought he was very good and his passing between the lines was impressive. Ricardo was class, and Nelson looked really promising as well.

Pleased to see Casadei's contribution, Cannon's finish was Vardy-esque and Albrighton was solid as usual.

Choudhury was my man of the match as well, made some crucial interceptions and was efficient in his distribution.

Clearly need to work on set piece defending. We seem to concede three types of goal most - worldies and deflections, which you can't do much about. But the one we can is set pieces - Millwall especially have shown us up in how we defend them.

Hopefully that gets addressed urgently on the training pitch.

Cannon 3 goals in 2 games really staking his claim for next Championship game V Cov Schitty  next Saturday can see this lad become a prolific scorer for us really getting that confidence each game he plays, played really well today getting into some great spaces unfortunately wasn’t given much service first half but that goal he took was amazing the first touch to go round the keeper to slot home he’s definitely been watching or been learning from the GOAT !

Ben Nelson take a bow. Proper defensive display, useful on the ball too. Got to be pushing 1st team properly now, forget Doyle, Nelson is the bigger talent and ours.

Shame Nelson isn't left footed, nest and tidy player

He played really well. Never got shaken by their press, which was very encouraging. Would have liked to see what his passing range is like to figure out which position he can fit best (central or RCB), but with performances like that, he'll get plenty of chances to show us.

Was the penalty decision near the end as bad as it looked from the stand?

It looked horrendous right in front of me. How on earth did the ref not give that? Albrighton was livid.

In the whole we dominated millwall easy snd only made it a game by gifting 2 set piece opportunities which millwall were happy to take. Then its crap the pants to the finish line. We can certainly avoid this kind of stress and either bury teams with more goals or become defensively tighter.

anyway a win us a win and we played well.

cannon is close to scoring a hatrick one game soon. He’s arrived just in time for us.
