Lost Casadei and Ndidi is out for a period of time so the squad is actually weaker.

Casadei got slated by 95% of us.. including me. Wilf will hopefully be back soon

Broken no ffp rules, backed the manager in the summer, go in to the new season with no punishments

Yea it's embarrassing and Enzo will be peed but, we need to focus on what we have and not what we don't

Enzo has said all Jan we need players out to bring in.

No players out = no players in why is this so difficult for people to understand???

That’s the criticism. It’s multi-layered decay of numerous bad decisions over a period of time which manifests its self here.

Bad decisions by the same people at the top of the club.

We should still have enough in the squad to see us over the line but it is such a bad look again.

This is it. The Sensi signing is by no means make or break for the season. Perhaps it’s a deal we will do at the end of the season. However, the approach, the public perception etc. is again, very very amateurish and disappointing

Well they’ve done a pretty good so far this season.

Purely transfer based...

- Missed out on managers key summer signing

- Missed out on managers key winter signing

- Spent £8m on an ageing Connor Coady and the manager has had to spin that as 'an experienced head in the dressing room'

- Failed to sell A SINGLE unwanted player

- Thomas back out on a free loan again

- Players who had value in the summer will now leave for free in a few months

I could go on

Just regular incompetence- our inability to sell players is what holds us back. Its laughable how few players we actually sell for money.

You have absolutely zero percent hard evidence that proves we have handled this situation this poorly.

There is plenty to defend. Purely based on no ****er knowing where the issue lied.

There’s very strong evidence.

Why would Inter let a player travel without an agreement? There must have been some basis for them to permit that.

So why would Inter change from there? Because they are the ones missing out on dollar in the scenario.

Nobody on here has an issue comprehending that. Why is it do difficult for you to consider that this whole deal was a mockery? The club had to know that a sale was always required, yet they still flew in Sensi for a medical at the 11th hour when we were nowhere near selling a player.

As I’ve said elsewhere, talk about revealing your FFP position without releasing your accounts. Going to be so right low ball offers in the summer. Which ain’t very ****ing helpful right now

How about: he was a luxury signing who wasn't worth risking breaching FFP for, who will still probably be available in the summer on a free.

People in meltdown because we haven't seen it through, but maybe that's because the club aren't idiots who are prepared to føkk everything just to have a player who we don't really need coming in.

It's not exactly a mystery.

Of course it isn't worth breaching FFP for this. But, we're supposed to have agreed terms, we brought him over for a medical which he's supposed to have passed and yet  the deal's supposedly fallen through because at the last minute we couldn't balance the books.

I'm sorry but if that is the case we've known for days that we wouldn't be able to balance the books and known we were unlikely to sell anyone. In which case this has just been a complete waste of time and money all round.

There a general whiff of incompetence surrounding our whole recruitment in the last few seasons, going back to the failure by 14 seconds to register a player. of course being a DOF isn't a straightforward job but I'm afraid I have little confidence in him.

Surely this sort of thing happens at other clubs but of course we pay no attention. As others have said not too much going on this window anyway. Seems to me some see this as Christmas is cancelled and we can't have a shiny new player. We are not privy to where the fault lies. An opportunity for Akgun to prosper

How dare you bring logic into this mate? The bedwetters in this thread can't comprehend this alL RuDkInS FaUlt

Look some people are over reacting a bit but this is not the first debacle we have had. If it was the first I think a lot more people would be willing to believe it could be inter messing us around. However over the last few seasons we seem to have an incident like this in almost every transfer window. There is a pattern which would suggest that it is at least partly or mainly Rudkin/ the club that are to blame
