Only reason it isn't a red is the double jeopardy rule, how anyone's saying that isn't a pen??

Doesn't apply to dangerous play, should have been a straight red.

Commentator “it is high, but the ball is high and it’s there to be won”

the height of the ball doesn’t have any change on the fact the defender planted his boot with force and momentum on KDH leg. Could have broken his leg.

That’s never a pen

It is, Mark.

Doesn't matter if he wins the ball, it's unbelievably reckless and he goes through the knee with his studs at height and with pace. It's a foul because it's dangerous play and it's a penalty.

Remember when Vards got a red card against Wolves a couple years ago? He won the ball and we were all outraged but he went straight through the ball and took out the player dangerously at the same time.

It's just football in this day and age. You can't fly wildly in to tackles now and not give away fouls.

That’s a red as well.

That was wild from Fatawu.

Edit : on second thoughts, that’s harsh

Once again showing the terrible quality of the championship and our actual quality. They’re on top all half, we don’t lose our heads, they lose concentration for a moment , we go one up.

Also how is that not a red? If there’s var or we are the home team, that’s always gonna be a red. Knee high, studs up, completely out of control
