The Doctor Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January That probably gets overturned on appeal right? He's an idiot to make that challenge when the ref is a melt and under pressure from the freaks in the ground but it's not a red

StonyFox Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January Not a straight red. But if you're giving the ref a chance to give a red, it your own fault. Just so unnecessary after taking the lead.

Jaspa Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January When the ball is bobbling around, multiple tackles and someone flies in at force you often see reds given. He's off the floor, lots of momentum. The Cov lad did well to spin with it, their fans and players up in arms and it's a hastily made decision. Will be a tough second half - O'Hare & Sakamoto were causing problems. They don't have a striker on the pitch yet. Need to dig deep now, fans and players.
EnglishOxide Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January Fatawu gets a red for excessive force. The Cov defender gets a yellow for dangerous play and being last man. Make it make sense.
trugerkem Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January No penalty for me and ref evened it up by giving a red for a yellow card offence

Tazfox Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January Not sure Fatawus is a red but the pen definitely felt like one, he's planted his studs half way up KDHs thigh.. cynical but VAR may have sorted both decisions

A couple of people have said that he's a red waiting to happen and there it is but I think that gets overturned if we have VAR, it's not high. If thats a red, so is the pen. David Hiorns Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January It’s a red for the pen, out of control, injured the player, off the ground, studs up, it’s a clear pen. It’s a yellow for Abdul. Trying to win the ball, forceful challenge, studs not up. I said the ref would even things up as the atmos is toxic and he’s not man enough for it. Supergray22 Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January Referee got the penalty right. Reckless challenge with studs up waist high. He went with the wrong leg. Actually catches kdh studs up when he takes an evasive jump. As for Fatawu it was a rash and poorly timed challenge but never a red. It wasn’t as bad as the penalty. Referee lost it there to appease the crowd.

Fear Of The Fox Posted 13 January Share Posted 13 January It's simple: Born after 2000? It's a red. Born before 2000? It's a yellow. Born before 1980? It's a warning by the ref because it was his first tackle. Game is destroyed. Sport is becoming a joke. Sorry, it's already a joke.
