I don't think it changed on the red.  We were very poor before it in terms of our play.  We never got going today at any point.  Deserved the loss.

 

It won't make any difference to the fact that we will be promoted, but that was a rank performance from minute one.  You get one every now and again, and Enzo is good at getting unbeaten runs together. 

 

Shrug shoulders, move on.  This will be talked about in Cov for years, we will have forgotten it by next week.

Robbed by the ref really. Took them half hour to even lay a glove on us at 11 v 10, if the ref either sends both off or sends neither off, this doesn't happen. Just pathetic inconsistency

Enzo has been superb but he made a big mistake surrendering any attacking intent, I cannot remember the last time we played so defensively and it worked, going back years, we needed to keep a threat on the counter, Hamza coming on at wing back was odd too given we had Riccy in the back 3, 3 cbs on the bench and Sharky would have seemed a more obvious choice.

 

That said it should have been 10 a side and we wouldn't have had to go ultra defensive

Half a game with 10 is always going to be a massive struggle. Didn’t expect to get anything from this and I’m not surprised we lost in the end. Foot-size IQ tackle from Fatawu though, despite the fact I don’t personally think it should be a straight red.

Horrible result obviously. I don’t think, even before the sending off we were ever on top or in control. It happens. 
 

I thought Enzo got it wrong today. From start to finish. He has got a lot right this season. 
 

Harry Winks for the first 75 minutes was about 6 levels above everyone, they made the right subs to impact that control, we didn’t.

Today was shocking no matter how many we had on the pitch. Enzo and the players have a lot to answer for today.

 

When will 60-70% of our fanbase wake up and realise that this is THE Derby?

Always going to be tough with 10 men for so long, manager was slow with his subs but we are still top and over to the chasing teams now.

A painful loss, but we can use it as a learning opportunity. Hopefully Enzo realises he made the wrong subs and was too negative in the second half. It was obvious they’d pile on the pressure and quick breaks with Mavidid, Cannon and KDH could have been fruitful for us.
