It won't make any difference to the fact that we will be promoted, but that was a rank performance from minute one.  You get one every now and again, and Enzo is good at getting unbeaten runs together.

Maresca really didn't handle the red card well tactically. Pretty concerning we had only one striker in the squad. 

 

To take off player of the month Mavadidi when Fatawu had been sent off was such a poor decision.

Ref was awful but we brought it on ourselves with a loss of control and then poor subs to invite pressure.

 

Move on, bigger games ahead.

The goal in the second half should have been to control possession, instead we dropped deep and just tried to hang on. Easier said than done but don't think the absence of 1 should have meant we dropped to 25% possession.

 

Perfect game to respond in Ipswich though.

Not blaming the ref, we should have seen that game out for at least a point. But I’m sure Enzo will learn and we’ll still reach that record points total.

This will be one of the greatest games for Coventry over the last ten years. Let that sink in and let’s move on.

Enzo and the players are allowed an off day. It happens, people calling out Abdul (young player who's been brilliant for us) and Enzo are embarrassing themselves. 

 

My biggest reason for being so annoyed by this defeat is those dirty bastards with those signs will be laughing. That makes my blood boil!

Lost the game on one moment, the score flatters Coventry, 11 player and it would have been a different story. Forget it and move onto the next game

Game was ruined by an overzealous challenge and overzealous refereeing of said challenge.

 

Having said that though; as I've maintained all season, the second our defence is put under sustained pressure it folds just as dramatically as last season.

Just not at the races today and some odd decisions by Enzo. Taking off Mavididi and then Cannon was a bit of a donkey brain decision, it just led to Cov dominating as we had no decent outball.

Abdul cost us today, it was a stupid challenge and gave the ref a decision to make.

 

The ref had a stinker and Palmer should have also been sent off.

 

Not going to get on Enzo’s back, wasn’t his fault today, just a shocking day at the office where nothing went for us bar one decision.

Fatawu stupidity cost us that game. You can argue all you like but it was unnecessary and reckless. 

Having seen the tackle well enough to give the penalty ref should've gave them a red card too. 

 

Defended pretty whole for the most part but tired. Faes was outstanding for 75 minutes, but should be closing O'Hare down. 

 

Obvious to say he didn't need to take a striker off but not sure it would've made too much difference.

Didn't like the Cannon substitution at 1-1. If we were ever going to score he would have been the guy. Full turtle mode after that

As much as people slag VAR off today's game would of been so much different if it was in place.

tbf first half thought a draw would have been fair, but the 2 challenges/decisions totally changed the game

 

both should have been reds imo

 

had it been 10v10/11v11 i honestly dont think we lose that, a little annoying but its football and still 10 points clear, so brush it off and go again Monday week

 

when is the Coventry open top bus parade or the Celebratory DVD of the match?
