I don’t care what peoples excuses are and what other things they have to do on a Monday night or traffic or whatever.
When the team is back to the wall in a 1st v 2nd game, most teams need their joke support to get them over the line.

Our support sits silent all night then heads home at 85 mins.

Shit support

Yet you were at the game posting in the match thread all evening

We stopped playing 2nd half, and bottled trying to play through their press. Went aimlessly long way too many times and lost our grip on the game. We do it every time we are 1-0 up and a team presses us well.

A fair few looked shattered towards the end too. Enzo is a great tactician but obviously doesn't trust his subs.

Still, a point no disaster. I don't see Ipswich gaining 7 points on us from now until end of season.

7 of the last 8 goals we’ve conceded have been in the last 15 minutes of games. We have a major problem.

Those goals don't matter if we score more, that's the problem. We can't keep trying to see out games 1-0.

19 mins in, if Cannon had taken a look up instead of taking a shot McAteer was unmarked with only the keeper to beat. Moments like that can cost you the win.

You have to say well done to Ipswich for having a go, we learnt fcuk all from our previous encounter it was a carbon copy.

Same bracket as the Sheff Weds, West Brom, Ipswich Boxing day fixture and a few more.

No pro-active subs and poor game management.

Enzo doesn’t appear to be learning.

Very frustrating.

I wished he learn a little quicker. Starting to pee me off

Luckily because of our start we only need to be flat track bullies and keep putting the dross away at home.

No Need to panic. We haven't lost to Ipswich this season.

Disappointing game management from Enzo though. Can't rely on a 1 goal lead being enough to get by.

We take pushing our luck to a new level...

Take lots of risks at the back and very few risks going forward. That's literally backwards.

Never got out of 2nd gear and should have won comfortably 😏

Absolutely rubbish tonight, sorry but we have only ourselves to blame, that was pretty poor.

It's a joke that a team promoted from league one, make us look big average on two occasions.

That's a huge over reaction. We dominated the first half and whilst they were arguably better 2nd half, they didn't create any decent chances. Their keeper pulled off several good saves and we had one cleared off the line. Another day and we win that 3/4-0. Our game management 2nd half was poor however and does seem to be a reoccurring issue.

Couldnt find it? we would get it forward to around the halfway line, forward players waiting for it, then it would be passed back.

Some just cant read the game, we were playing so defensive.

We had lots of chances and shots in the second half. Sure, our defenders weren’t playing high risk balls when they weren’t on and they were out of position, but we were in now way playing defensively.

Our defenders were often ahead of our midfielders ffs.

we lost because of lack of subs to keep the energy, not the lack of attacking intent

Good for you that you saw that. I just saw a surrender - yet again - to any team that puts some grit into their performance. Dead on our feet? So why wait until the death to shake it up?

blame that on the manager not the players.

How is that a surrender? they took a pot shot and the balls fallen kindly to the striker.

If you were a player in that game you’d feel very hard done by. Don’t let the result taint the effort that was out there

Its the same as the away game really, trying to sit on a 1-0 goal lead for a big chunk of the game, but this was even worse as we was at home.

So many times forward play was on and we just kept passing back, playing for a 1-0 for an entire half, utterly shameful.

Enzo become afraid of his own shadow or something?

I dont think that Mcateer played two FORWARD passes all game!

To slow with the subs again

Their subs had time to get up to speed. We’re rarely effective once we have made them. Shows Enzo is more of a safety first manager for me. Our defence overall is a little too brittle for that and our mentally not quite up to it.

People going on about subs, who do we bring on? Coady, Doyle and Nelson no point. Wanya isn't going to affect anything. Praet don't wanna play.

We were doing fine UNTIL we made the subs.

Look thin in CM, hopefully another comes in on loan.

So, it would have been 0-0 after 20 minutes then. 🤷‍♂️
