It's really simple when you break it down.

 

It's not bad luck, we just have garbage strikers. Plain and simple.

 

How many teams in any league in history have 70 league goals but have none of their strikers in double figures barely?

 

We are so weak up top, if the wingers and midfielders don't score, we are toast.  Our conversion rate for our strikers must be absolutely diabolical.

Most of the game we were great but lacked finishing. Then the first goal went in and we wet the bed. Hangover from Rodgers mentality. 

 

Side note, congrats to Leeds on their title win, which, as far I can tell from Sky, they secured tonight.

Btw we can ramble about luck or whatever, proper sides get that over the line easy. Comparisons between this side and Pearson’s promotion side are obvious, the latter could grind it out. They were in that same situation and won a game 2-0. These ****ers are incredibly soft

We don't take chances when it matters, and we don't have it in us to hang on when we miss them against anyone decent.

 

We may well go up this season still, but these traits mean we'll go straight back down unless something changes.

Robbery or not, you cant capitulate like that. Leeds stuck to the goal of winning didnt give up like us and they get the 3 points. Is what it is.

Well.

 

A game we should’ve been 3/4-0 up in and we end up losing 3-1.  Really only have ourselves to blame for the glorious chances we’ve missed. 
 

Dominated the game. Looked ever so comfortable. A cock up from the officials (surprise, surprise) stops us going 2-0 up and absolutely game over with how much control we had. 
 

Brain dead defending for the equaliser. Another lucky deflection conceded to put them ahead. Then we totally lost our heads. There won’t be a more flattering win for Leeds this season. 
 

Most of you lot expected us to lose, so I’m not sure why this is coming as much of a shock to you. 
 

We’ll still be fine, we’ll still go up as champions, a late capitulation in a game we dominated for 80 minutes shouldn’t let that cloud your judgment.

Not sure what's more frustrating - the disallowed goal or the fact that even without that we should still have been three nil up, or once again a ridiculous piece of luck costing us points.

 

Or maybe just Leeds celebrating like they've won the league - which no doubt their fans now believe they have as good as done.

However, we squandered easy to very easy chances. We put pressure on ourselves by not controlling possession in the final third near the end of the game.

 

Leeds were lucky, sure, but should have pressed our advantage. We didn't, and they did. And then we lost the game.

Probably the most undeserved scoreline I've ever seen. I thought our performance was really good, especially 2nd half, but our finishing was utterly abysmal. We should have been 3/4 up before they equalised and been our of sight. Based on that performance though, there's no danger we won't go up, we are miles better than Leeds even though the scorenline didn't reflect that. Enzo will be so disappointed as on the one hand the players have put in a Real performance but on the other hand they've let him down badly with the poor finishing

I thought Dewsbury was awesome and Vesty was a beast.  We were cruising it, like watching a Prem team against a championship side,  but the poor finishing was always going to get punished.

I can't believe we lost that game.

Played well for 65, really well, but two golden chances missed plus a reffing error, and never comfortable at only 1-0. We can still have this, but no room for more slip ups now.
